Is zakat obligatory on hidden gold intended for adornment, the time for its use not yet having arrived?

First: Zakat on jewelry intended for personal use. The Hanafis consider it obligatory to pay Zakat on it, and this is the fatwa adopted by this website, regardless of whether it is worn or stored away.

Second: The nisab for jewelry on which Zakat is obligatory. The nisab is 85 grams of 24-carat gold. If the gold is 21-carat, the nisab is 97.14 grams. If the mother gifted gold to her two daughters, and the share of each daughter did not reach the nisab, then no Zakat is due from them. However, if the mother retained ownership of it, then Zakat is obligatory on her for the total amount of gold if it reaches the nisab. Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen said: "If the jewelry is on loan (from the husband), its ownership belongs to the man and Zakat is paid on it collectively. But if the daughters own it, then each has her separate ownership and it is not combined."
