Capability is a condition for the obligation of Hajj. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, interpreted it as having provisions and a mount. This means the ability to afford the cost of transportation for a round trip, and the expenses of the pilgrim and those he supports during that period. If a person does not find what is sufficient for Hajj, then he is not obliged to save for it. It is also not advisable to incur debt to perform Hajj, due to the hadith: "The soul of a believer is suspended by his debt until it is paid off."

If the desire is moderate: Hajj is prioritized over marriage according to the majority of scholars. 2. If the person fears falling into adultery (due to intense longing): Marriage is prioritized over Hajj, because it becomes an obligation for him like maintenance.
