Which is the greater religious obligation that must be fulfilled: Hajj or procreation?

If one is able to perform Hajj, he must hasten to it, and it is not permissible for him to delay it except for a valid excuse. Having children is a fundamental objective of marriage, and delaying Hajj is permissible if there is an excuse, such as the need to care for children and breastfeed. The legally responsible person is not obligated to acquire the ability for Hajj; thus, he is not required to earn money or acquire the means of health if he is poor or sick, because these conditions are what make the obligation complete, and acquiring them is not obligatory.
