How will Jews, Christians, and others of other religions be judged in this era, and what is the fate of someone who was raised in a religion and did not seek another, and will they be punished in Hellfire despite their belief in the correctness of what they are upon?
This world and the Hereafter belong to Allah alone, and both Paradise and Hellfire belong to Him, the Most High. None shall enter Paradise except those who believe in Allah and in what His messengers were sent with. Thus, whoever, among Jews or Christians, hears of the message of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and dies without believing in what he was sent with, will be among the inhabitants of the Fire. Allah has invalidated the claims of the Jews and Christians that Paradise is exclusively theirs, and He has affirmed that it is for whoever submits his face to Allah and does good. Muslims know the correctness of their religion from the established texts of revelation. Allah created people and showed them the path of good and evil, and He supported His messengers with miracles, the greatest of which is the Holy Quran. So, whoever the Quran reaches and upon whom the proof is established, yet he does not believe in it, will be among the inhabitants of the Fire. As for those whom the message did not reach, they will be tested on the Day of Resurrection.
