How can one reconcile the verses that indicate that those outside of Islam are losers and in Hellfire, with the verses that mention that whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous deeds—whether from the Jews, Christians, or Sabians—will have no fear upon them, nor will they grieve; and what is the fate of the Arabs who died before the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, such as his parents?

The destiny of disbelievers among Christians is eternal dwelling in Hellfire, based on His (Allah's) saying: "Indeed, those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein," and "And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers." Moreover, a Hadith in Sahih Muslim affirms that "No one from this nation, neither a Jew nor a Christian, hears of me, then dies without believing in that with which I was sent, except that he will be among the dwellers of the Fire."
