لماذا لا يمكن للمسلم أن يواعد أو يلتقي بامرأة؟

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Islam prohibits a man from being alone with a non-mahram woman, even if it is for the purpose of teaching her the Qur'an, because Satan is the third of them. If a woman wishes to learn about Islam, she can read translated books or receive explanations in the presence of her mahram, or a group of women, or trustworthy men, provided there is no seclusion (khalwa). Seclusion is forbidden because it is a path to corruption and indecency, and Sharia blocks all avenues leading to evil. Benefits can be exchanged between a man and a woman without seclusion, through letters, or meeting from behind a veil, or in the presence of people who eliminate the possibility of seclusion.
