What is value, what are its types, how do we instill it in our children, and what are value lessons?

Values are the virtuous morals that give the person characterized by them worth among people. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, affirmed the noble morals that existed among the Arabs and called for their completion by saying: "I was only sent to perfect noble morals." Educating children on Islamic values is very important, and one can benefit in instilling them from fatwas related to raising children, and books such as "Tarbiat al-Awlad fi al-Islam" (Raising Children in Islam) by Abdullah Nasih Ulwan, and "Manhaj al-Tarbiya al-Nabawiya lil-Tifl" (The Prophetic Educational Methodology for Children) by Muhammad Nur Suwayd, and websites such as "IslamOnline" and "Al-Murabbi online."
