Does learning to dance contradict memorizing the Quran?

Dancing is considered makrooh (disliked), and it becomes haram (forbidden) if it is accompanied by something forbidden, such as musical instruments. A person who carries the Quran (i.e., a reciter or memorizer of the Quran) should distance themselves from trivial matters and anything that diminishes their standing, even if it is merely disliked and not strictly forbidden. Instead, they should strive to review and memorize the Quran diligently.
