Does Allah Almighty have the attribute of jealousy?

The attribute mentioned for Allah Almighty is affirmed in a manner befitting His Majesty, as explicitly stated in the hadiths found in the Sahihayn and other collections. However, it is important to note that the attributes of Allah Almighty are unlike those of His creation. Therefore, we affirm for Allah Almighty whatever He has affirmed for Himself, or whatever His Messenger has affirmed for Him, without takyif (questioning how), ta'til (negating), or tashbih (likening Him to creation). This is in accordance with His saying: ﴿There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.﴾ [Ash-Shura: 11]. It has been affirmed in authentic hadiths that Allah is described with jealousy (ghirah).
