Secretions that do not exit with a gush or pleasure, and have no color, yellowness, or whiteness, do not necessitate ghusl (ritual bath), but they do invalidate wudu (ablution). Semen necessitates ghusl and has two characteristics: the smell of palm spathe or dough, and pleasure upon exiting followed by languor. As for madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), it is a thin, white fluid that exits upon arousal without a gush or pleasure, and is not followed by languor; it invalidates wudu. If you are unsure whether the discharge is semen or madhiy, and you cannot distinguish between them by smell or languor, then choose between them.
