If the parents are in a condition where there is no fear of them being lost, and there is no fear of perishing from the travel, and the country being traveled to is safe, then there is no objection to traveling, while being keen on honoring one's parents and treating them well by returning, contacting them, checking on their well-being, and offering them assistance. If one of the parents dies or is afflicted with harm, and the traveler was not the cause of that or negligent towards them, then there is no sin upon him.
