The Almighty states that on the Day of Resurrection, He will roll up the heavens as a scribe rolls up a scroll. Its stars will scatter, and its suns and moons will be wrapped up. His re-creation of the creatures will be like His initial creation of them; He is able to recreate them after their death just as He created them from nothing. His saying: (As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it) [21:104] carries two possible meanings: either it is a report about the Resurrection, meaning that just as He created them first, He will repeat them; or it is a report that every person will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in the state in which he entered this world.
