ما الفرق بين فرض وفرضية؟

Al-fard (the religious duty) signifies the source of everything enjoined upon a person in a known measure, and its name is al-faridah (the obligatory act). As for al-fardiyah (obligatoriness), it indicates the characteristic of something being an obligatory act, by adding the yaa of relation and the haa of feminization to the root word (al-fard).
