Are there any misgivings regarding the work of a notary public, especially in their dealings with banks?

The work of a notary is permissible if his notarization is for legitimate contracts and permissible transactions, and within institutions that adhere to Sharia. However, if his work requires notarization of unlawful contracts and usurious transactions, and in conventional banks that do not adhere to Sharia rulings, then his work is absolutely forbidden, because it falls under aiding in sin and transgression, which Allah Almighty has forbidden. This is also because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and he said: "They are all equal."
