What is the ruling on a female preacher appearing on television with makeup, thinned eyebrows, and tight, eye-catching clothes, under the pretext that Islam has permitted her a degree of adornment for the necessity of the camera?

If it serves a benefit, a woman must appear on visual media channels wearing her full legal hijab (definition). Indeed, she may even be required to exaggerate her hijab. However, her appearance with adornment is a reprehensible act and a false claim, because the permissibility of uncovering the face is conditioned upon the absence of fitnah (temptation). How then can it be permissible to adorn oneself in front of a camera when it is a cause of fitnah? Ibn Nujaym mentioned that going out is permissible on condition that there is no adornment and that one's appearance is changed to something that does not invite men's gaze. As for applying makeup for non-mahram (definition) men, it is not permissible in Islamic law, whether it is little or much.
