Is it permissible for Muslims who are besieged and attacked in Palestine to combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers in the mosque, and the Dhuhr and Asr prayers during curfew?

If Palestinians are not permitted to leave their homes for the second Dhuhr and Asr prayers (combined as Dhurayn) and Maghrib and Isha prayers (combined as Ishayayn), or if their departure would expose them to danger, then there is no blame upon them for combining Dhurayn and Ishayayn at a time that is convenient for them. This is supported by the hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed Dhuhr and Asr together, and Maghrib and Isha together, without fear or travel." His saying "without fear or travel" indicates that fear is one of the permissible reasons for combining prayers, just like travel.
