What is the ruling on tearing a paper of sorcery and throwing it in the toilet out of ignorance that one should recite the Qur'an over it and burn it, and does the sorcery remain as it is?

It is also done through Ruqyah (Islamic incantation) and by reciting verses for nullifying magic, which are: verses 81-82 from Surat Yunus, verses 118-122 from Surat Al-A'raf, and verse 69 from Surat Taha.
