Is the name "Faris" a good name or a disliked one for a newborn?

There is no objection to naming (a child) "Faris." It was used as a name in the past, as mentioned in historical texts. However, it is preferable to name a boy "Abdullah" or "Abdul-Rahman," or with the names of prophets, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Name yourselves with the names of the prophets, and the most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdul-Rahman."
