What do scholars say about eating mare meat? What is it? Is it permissible or not?

It is permissible to eat while walking and drink while standing, as reported from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: "We used to eat during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while we were walking, and we would drink while we were standing." This may be disliked as a minor dislike (Karahat Tanzih) and not a prohibition in some environments if it is considered among the things that violate decorum (khawārim al-murū'ah) which could invalidate one's testimony, such as eating in the street or walking barefoot.
