Will the barren woman, who dedicates her time and energy to acts of worship (seeking forgiveness, prayer, supplication, remembrance of God, reciting the Quran, giving charity, sponsoring an orphan), be rewarded for this with the intention that God will answer her in a worldly matter? And will these deeds be accepted from her? Or is it a condition that her intention be for the afterlife for them to be accepted and for her to be rewarded for them?

Deeds are by intentions. What the woman has done in terms of acts of worship, supplication, reciting Qur’an, and sponsoring an orphan is with the intention of drawing closer to Allah and having her supplication answered. Indeed, supplication is remembrance of Allah and is one of the greatest acts of worship and best means of drawing near. Her desire for a response does not contradict sincerity and the attainment of reward. Therefore, she should continue in supplication and doing good, for there is no believer who asks Allah except that He grants it to him, either expedited in this world, or stored for him in the Hereafter, as long as he does not hasten and say: "I supplicated and supplicated, but I do not see it being answered for me."
