Is a woman rewarded for the pain she experiences during menstruation, personal hygiene, and housework? And is she rewarded for the acts of worship she used to perform during her period, or does that include supererogatory acts as well? What is her reward if her husband prevents her from performing righteous deeds, such as sending out hadiths and admonitions? Does a wife have hur al-ayn in Paradise? And is it true that a woman is burdened with more responsibilities than a man?

It is not befitting for a Muslim to object to Allah’s decree and judgment. Rather, one must be content and submit to His commands and abstain from His prohibitions, for Allah is All-Wise, All-Aware. The claim that women are burdened more than men is incorrect. Men are burdened with striving, providing for their families, attending Friday prayers and congregational prayers, and jihad. Allah burdens each person with what is suitable for them. A woman is rewarded for the pain she experiences during menstruation if she is patient and seeks reward from Allah. Similarly, she is rewarded for serving her husband and children, and for her work in her home. The deficiency in a woman's religious commitment and intellect is a divine decree and carries no sin. The preponderant opinion is that a woman is not rewarded for the prayers she missed due to menstruation, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) referred to that as a deficiency in her religion. The difference between her and the sick or the traveler is that a menstruating woman is forbidden from intending to pray during menstruation. A menstruating woman can engage in glorification of Allah (tasbeeh) and recite the Qur’an, and this would increase her faith. It is not legislated for a woman to make up Tarawih prayers along with her missed days of fasting. A righteous woman in Paradise will be honored by Allah with all kinds of blessings, and she will have one husband. A woman’s obedience to her husband is one of the greatest acts of obedience and is promised a great reward.
