Is it permissible to eat from well-known restaurants found in Muslim countries when they are located in other countries such as the United States or Britain?

The presence of famous restaurants in Muslim countries is not a justification for eating from them in Western countries. One should be cautious of many of these widespread restaurants in Islamic countries, as most of them serve meats that were slaughtered in a manner other than the Shar'i (Islamic legal) slaughter.
