Does planting and reviving barren land using water from the mosque necessitate dividing the harvest between the planter and the mosque, or does the entire harvest belong to the planter?

The waqf land belonging to the mosque may not be utilized except with the permission of the supervisor. The supervisor is not permitted to dispose of it except in a way that benefits the mosque. Therefore, it is not permissible to give it to someone who would exploit it without rent. Rather, rent must be collected and spent for the benefit of the mosque. Similarly, it is not permissible to take water from the mosque for irrigating crops or for other purposes, unless it is known that the endower allows it. Jurists have stipulated the prohibition of transferring water designated for public use from its place to another for personal use, unless the endower permits it.
