What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding the responsibility of a female specialist in obstetrics and gynecology towards God if she is compelled to perform legal abortion procedures during her training period, given that she does not intend to perform them after graduation except in cases where the pregnancy poses a danger to the mother?

Abortion is forbidden at any stage of the fetus, according to the preponderant opinion of scholars. The mere matter of training does not justify undertaking it. If you can pursue your studies without falling into this prohibited act, then that is excellent. However, if you cannot specialize in this field except by committing this forbidden act, then it is impermissible for you to pursue this specialization. In that case, you must specialize in another field that is free from شرعي (Islamic legal) prohibitions.
