What should I do with a booklet that contains one of the narrations of Bani Israel, which should neither be believed nor disbelieved?

There is no harm in reading books that contain narratives about the Children of Israel, as long as their falsehood is not known and they do not include an invitation to falsehood or an embellishment of immorality. It is reported in Sahih al-Bukhari that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Narrate from the Children of Israel, and there is no harm." Scholars have explained this to mean that the intention is to expand on narrations from them after Islamic rulings have been established, due to the lessons contained in their stories, and that this does not include what is known to be false.
