What is meant by the poor, the wayfarer, the weak, the needy, and those in bondage in the Holy Quran?

The weak are mentioned in the Holy Quran in Surah At-Tawbah, verse 91: "There is no blame upon the weak or upon the sick or upon those who do not find anything to spend if they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is no way [of blame] upon the doers of good. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." Al-Qurtubi interpreted the weak as those afflicted with chronic illnesses, old age, blindness, and lameness, similar to verse 61 of Surah An-Nur: "There is no blame upon the blind, nor upon the lame." Al-Baghawi interpreted the weak as the chronically ill, the elderly, and the infirm. Some said it refers to children, and others said it refers to women.
