Do my feelings of being mocked and described as a "country bumpkin" when wearing the head abaya, and the subsequent change in my behavior, constitute a form of mockery towards me?

The head abaya is more effective in concealment, but there is no sin upon a woman for wearing a shoulder abaya if she adheres to the other conditions of concealment, because the purpose is for the woman to be covered from the eyes of those for whom it is unlawful to look at her. There is no sin upon the questioner for wearing a shoulder abaya under those conditions, and there is no fault in a woman being from a village; rather, it is a virtue. A woman should take pride in her hijab, and if someone scoffs at her, this will not harm her. Allah Almighty has informed us that criminals mock believers, and He has clarified the outcome of their mockery in the Hereafter.
