What is the difference between tawakkul (reliance on Allah) and tafweedh (entrusting all affairs to Allah), along with the evidence?

Reliance on Allah (Tawakkul) and delegation of affairs (Tafweedh) share the commonality of the heart's dependence on Allah and entrusting matters to Him. Some have considered delegation to be the highest degree of reliance and its very essence. The one who relies on Allah finds solace in His promise, the one who submits is content with His knowledge, and the one who delegates is pleased with His decree. Thus, reliance is the beginning, submission is the intermediate, and delegation is the end.

Others hold the view that reliance is broader and higher than delegation. The Quran is replete with commands to rely on Allah and mentions it as the state of prophets and believers, whereas delegation is mentioned in the Quran only once, on the tongue of the believer from the family of Pharaoh. Moreover, reliance encompasses delegation, seeking assistance, and contentment, and does not exist without them. Reliance is defined as the heart's sincere turning to Allah, delegating matters to Him after taking the necessary means. Therefore, taking the means and delegating to Allah are both part of reliance.
