The answer

We ask Allah to grant you a speedy recovery. If you are unsure whether the discharge is maniyy (seminal fluid), madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), or other secretions, then ghusl janabah (ritual bath due to major impurity) is not obligatory for you. The maniyy of a woman is characterized by being thin, yellow or white, and has two properties: pleasure upon its emission and a subsiding of desire thereafter. Its smell is like that of dough or palm pollen. As for madhiy, it is characterized by being thin, white, and sticky, discharged when aroused without pleasure, and not followed by a subsiding of desire. One may not even feel its emission. It is more common in women than in men. A discharge that occurs when desire surges is most likely madhiy for the woman.
