A brother died survived by a father and a brother. How is his estate to be distributed?

If the deceased leaves no heirs other than his father and his brother, then all his wealth belongs to his father. His brother has no share because he is excluded by the father, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and what remains is for the closest male heir." Therefore, there is no inheritance for brothers when the father is present.
