What is the mandatory legal action to be taken towards a 20-year-old daughter who is disobedient and physically assaults her mother?

Disobeying one's parents is one of the gravest sins, and there are texts from the Qur'an and Sunnah that warn against it. Allah hastens the punishment of the disobedient in this world. Therefore, the daughter must repent and seek forgiveness, hasten to be dutiful to her mother and seek her pleasure, and apologize to her for what has transpired. If she does not accept the advice, then she should be threatened with exposure and with taking the matter to the authorities for her to be punished.
