Is it permissible to adopt the view that flatulence from the front (vagina) does not nullify ablution, especially in cases of intrusive thoughts (waswasah)?

Scholars differ concerning the nullification of ablution due to the emission of wind from the anterior private part. The Hanafis and Malikis hold that it does not nullify ablution, while the Shafi'is and Hanbalis maintain that it does, based on the generality of the hadith: "No ablution is required except from a sound or a wind." This latter opinion is the most cautious and closer to the evidence. As for one who suffers from incontinence of wind, she must perform ablution for each prayer, and the emission of wind during prayer does not harm her prayer. It is permissible for the one who suffers from excessive doubt (waswas) to adopt the easiest opinion. It appears that the jurists did not differentiate between the birth canal and the urinary tract concerning this issue.
