What should a woman do if she suffers from constant flatulence from her vagina, and cannot distinguish during prayer whether the flatulence came from the front, in which case she would continue her prayer, or from the back, in which case she would repeat her ablution and prayer?

Scholars differ on whether the emission of wind from a woman's front private part (qubul) nullifies ablution, holding two views: it nullifies ablution (Shafi'is and Hanbalis), and it does not nullify ablution (Hanafis and Malikis). The more sound and cautious view is to perform ablution for this wind, due to the strength of the differing opinions, and because it is closer to the apparent meaning of the evidence, such as the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "There is no ablution except from a sound or a wind." If the emission of wind is continuous, then the woman's situation is like that of those with excuses; she should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun and pray the obligatory and supererogatory prayers, and she is not required to repeat ablution every time wind is emitted from her.
