Is it necessary to repeat Wudu (ablution) and Salah (prayer) if a woman emits wind with a sound, given that there are conflicting previous fatwas regarding whether wind invalidates Wudu?

This answer determines that the issue of wind exiting the front private part is among the matters in which scholarly disagreement is strong due to the absence of a clear and authentic textual evidence. Therefore, the safest and most absolving approach is to perform ablution from it. This does not mean definitively invalidating the prayer of one who did not perform ablution; rather, it means that performing ablution from it renders the prayer valid by scholarly consensus. This is a recommended act to exit from disagreement and avoid doubts, in accordance with the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The lawful is clear, and the unlawful is clear, and between them are matters that are doubtful, of which many people do not know. So whoever guards himself against doubtful matters, he has sought to purify his religion and his honor." This view is supported by the hadith (definition): "There is no ablution except from a sound or a wind."
