How many repudiations has the wife received, and is the husband entitled to take her back before the 'iddah period ends, based on the incidents mentioned: his swearing by divorce to go to a specific place, then his swearing by divorce to speak with someone while he was angry, then his saying to his family, "If Raneem had a hand in the problem that occurred, she is divorced," and his repeating "Raneem is divorced" three times in her absence?
The fatwa adopted by us is that a conditional divorce (talaq mu'allaq) takes effect when the condition it is tied to is met, whether the intention was to effect the divorce or to threaten. The husband cannot revoke the conditional divorce. However, some scholars are of the view that a conditional divorce intended as a threat or for emphasis does not take effect, and in such a case, an expiation for an oath (kaffarat yamin) becomes obligatory.
If the husband sought a fatwa and was advised by people of knowledge that the divorce does not take effect and only expiation is required, then there is no harm in acting upon this opinion.
Extreme anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce unless the intellect is completely lost. If you spoke with the person upon whom the divorce was conditioned while being absent-minded or forgetful, then the husband does not break his oath.
It is recommended to present the issue to trustworthy people of knowledge in person to act upon their advice.
