Did the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prolong his bowing (rukūʿ) and prostration (sujūd) to the extent of his recitation of the Quran in the prayer unit (rakʿah)?

The prayer of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was proportionate in length; if he prolonged the recitation, he prolonged the bowing (ruku') and prostration (sujud), and if he shortened the recitation, he shortened the bowing and prostration. In the hadith narrated by Hudhayfah, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed with Surat Al-Baqarah, then Al-Nisa, then Al 'Imran. His bowing was close in length to his standing, and his standing after bowing was long, close to the length of his bowing, and his prostration was close in length to his standing. This indicates that his guidance, peace and blessings be upon him, was to achieve proportionality in the length and brevity of the prayer's pillars.
