What is the method of self-fortification (tahseen) when going to an event? Are the morning and evening adhkar sufficient? Should one blow (naft) and wipe (mash) with them, or should the Mu'awwidhat, Ayat al-Kursi, and Al-Fatiha be recited, and then one blows and wipes the body with them before leaving? Can both methods be combined? And when reciting the adhkar before sleep, should one blow and wipe each time, or blow and wipe once after finishing the recitation three times?

Protection upon leaving the home is achieved by reciting, "In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah." It is then said: "You have been guided, sufficed, and protected," and the devils move away from him. Furthermore, the remembrances of morning and evening, asking Allah for well-being, and reciting Surahs Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas three times in the morning and evening, suffice the Muslim from everything and protect him from all evil.
