The answer

If the wife is a regular employee in her school work and receives a salary for it, there is no harm in her taking that salary.

However, if her work has shifted to the municipal council and she receives her salary for that work, in addition to a bonus for attending weekly sessions, and she does not attend these sessions, then not paying the bonus for work she did not attend and did not perform is correct.

As for the salary, its legitimacy depends on her commitment to her employment contract and the performance of her job, because it is not permissible to take a salary for work that was not performed or a duty that was not carried out.

If the employer authorizes absence for a certain period due to lack of need, there is no harm in taking the salary for that period.
