What is the ruling on someone who marries while not praying, and is the marriage contract void in this case based on the Hadith, "The covenant between us and them is prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved"?

The disbelief (kufr) of one who abandons prayer is established by narrations from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Therefore, for whoever considers abandoning prayer to be major disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam, the marriage (nikah) is invalid, because it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a disbeliever. As for whoever considers it to be minor disbelief that does not expel one from the fold of Islam, the marriage is valid. Abandoning prayer is the greatest major sin after shirk (associating partners with Allah). It is not permissible for a Muslim to marry one who abandons prayer. And for whoever married while abandoning prayer, they must repent and renew the marriage contract.
