How can atheist colleagues be convinced that the existence of God does not contradict tribulations such as the death of children in Palestine, and is clarifying the true image of Islam and Jerusalem to the West considered a verbal jihad?

The starting point with atheists is to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and to clarify the true nature of this world, which is a test to distinguish the wicked from the good. What is happening to the children of Gaza is part of this test, to distinguish the believer who rushes to their aid from the hypocrite. This is indicated by Allah's saying: "That [is so]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordained it] that He might test some of you by means of others." (Quran 47:4) and His saying: "And what is [the matter] with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and for the oppressed among men, women, and children?" (Quran 4:75). Clarifying the image of Islam and Jerusalem to the West is a form of jihad. Interaction with atheists and the wicked should be limited to clarifying the truth and inviting them to it, without extending to companionship and close friendship.
