Which is better: to increase in the remembrance of Allah or in sending prayers upon the Prophet (peace be upon him), especially during blessed days and nights?

Praying upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a form of remembrance of Allah, and it has been reported regarding its virtue: "Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him ten times." There are specific times and places where it is recommended to increase in sending blessings upon him, such as on Friday, after the muezzin's call (adhan) is answered, upon entering and exiting the mosque, and at the beginning, middle, and end of supplications (du'a). However, there are instances where only the remembrance of Allah Almighty is singled out, such as tasbeeh (glorification), istighfar (seeking forgiveness), isti'adhah (seeking refuge), and when eating, as the Sunnah did not mention sending blessings upon the Prophet in these situations. A Muslim should give each instance its due right of the specific remembrance associated with it. For example, during the pre-dawn hours (as-har), one should increase in seeking forgiveness, and in times when supplications are answered, one should increase in du'a and humble entreaty. This includes sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to a man who asked him: "How much of my prayers (i.e., supplications) should I dedicate to you?" When the man said: "I will dedicate all my prayers to you," the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Then Allah will suffice you for your worries and forgive your sins."
