What is the Jewish position on religious obligations, and what are the examples where Allah Almighty made obligations more stringent for the Jews?

The Jews, like other disbelievers, are addressed by the divine injunctions (takalif shari'ah), and they are required to embrace Islam and fulfill its branches. God's address concerning these injunctions is directed to everyone, but the validity of these actions is conditioned upon their acceptance of Islam. In the afterlife, they will be tormented for not fulfilling these injunctions, in addition to their punishment for disbelief. Some injunctions were lightened with the advent of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, such as the removal of the burdens and yokes that were upon them, including the prescription of retaliation (qisas) and the prohibition of war spoils. Furthermore, Allah prohibited some good things to them because of their injustice and transgression.
