How can I begin to help my five-year-old sister memorize the Quran?

Raising children upon religion and teaching them the Qur'an and Sunnah is a great matter. To facilitate the memorization of the Qur'an for a girl, it is recommended to start with easy surahs like Al-Fatiha, then the last juz', while setting a small daily memorization quota and continuous revision. She should be encouraged with rewards, taught to self-recite what she has memorized, accustomed to reciting what she has memorized in her prayers, and to listen to Qur'an recitations. It is preferable to choose suitable times for memorization away from distractions, praise her in front of others, use one copy of the Mushaf to solidify memorization, and encourage her to write down what she memorizes.
