Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to stay in a mosque – one where Friday prayer is not held and which does not have a minaret – during her menstrual period?

It is forbidden for a menstruating woman to stay in a mosque, due to the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) prohibition of menstruating women from the Eid prayer ground, which has the ruling of a mosque. This is the view of the majority of scholars, and there is no distinction between mosques. As for prayer rooms in workplaces and schools that have not been endowed to be mosques, they do not take the ruling of a mosque, and it is permissible for a menstruating woman to enter them and stay there.
