For a marriage to be valid, the presence of the guardian (wali), offer (ijab), acceptance (qabul), and witnesses is required. The testimony of a woman is not valid in marriage. If a marriage fulfills its pillars and conditions, it is valid and not considered a secret marriage. There is no harm in not publicizing it; rather, publicizing it is recommended.
