What is the authenticity of the hadith: "Does lawful wealth diminish, O Messenger of Allah..."?

We have not come across this alleged Hadith in the books of the scholars, which indicates that it is fabricated and not permissible to attribute it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is stated in Kashf al-Khafa that the phrase "the unlawful departs and the lawful departs" has not been verified as a Hadith.
