Did the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, pray with the other prophets, peace be upon them, in Al-Aqsa Mosque?

There is no information indicating the language in which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, conversed with the prophets on the night of the Isra’ and Mi’raj. However, it appears that it was Arabic, as it was his language and the language of his people, and it has not been reported that he spoke to anyone in any other language.

As for his leading the prophets in prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque, it is also highly probable that it was in Arabic, because the Qur’an was revealed in Arabic, and it is a miracle in its wording and meaning. The imams have unanimously agreed on the obligation of reciting the Qur’an in Arabic, both in prayer and outside of it.
