Can assistance be provided for purchasing my gold so that I can pay Zakat on it, given that I don't have the money for it and my sister is ill?

Gold used for adornment and personal use is not subject to zakat, according to the majority of scholars, and this is the opinion acted upon. However, if it is not intended for personal use, then zakat is due on it, without dispute, provided it reaches the nisab (minimum threshold) and a full year has passed over it. For those who hold the view that zakat is obligatory on it, it can be paid in cash or from the gold itself. Illness does not waive the obligation of zakat.
