Regarding the first about Noah's progeny: It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and others from Al-, from Samurah, from the Prophet (PBUH), that the remaining descendants of Noah are Ham, Shem, and Japheth. This Hadith was graded as weak by Al-Albani and Shu'ayb Al-Arna'ut. As for the second Hadith, its source is unknown, as Ibn Mardawayh's book is lost. Genealogists have unanimously agreed that all nations descended from Noah are from his three sons, and that those who were with him in the ark, other than them, perished and left no offspring.
