Should prayers performed with an incorrect Tayammum be made up?

The questioner must repeat the previous prayers performed with an incorrect tayammum if he remembers their number. Otherwise, he must make up for them until he is reasonably certain that his obligation has been fulfilled. This is the view of the majority of scholars. There is another opinion held by some scholars—such as Ibn Taymiyyah—that whoever misses a condition or a pillar out of ignorance is not required to repeat the prayer. According to this opinion, repetition is not obligatory.
